Chief stewardess Maxine Robert

ABOUT ME    Growing up along the coast lines of South Africa i have always loved being in or on the sea.  My passion for the ocean, travelling the world and meeting new people is what drove me to join the yachting industry. I went to university in Cape town, where i studied psychology and business management. After completing my degree i completed a 2 year diploma in holistic nutrition through New York. I got to spend a lot of time in Stellenbosch, one of South Africa’s biggest and finest wine farming areas, it was there where i discovered my love & appreciation for beautiful wines.

EXPERIENCE   I have been in the yachting industry for 5 years now. Always working on extremely busy charter yachts with a high level of service. My first position as chief stewardess was onboard motor yacht waku, a 45m Trinity with a 4 girl interior team. We traveled the Caribbean extensively on waku, starting from St Maarten and making our way all the way down to St Lucia and Dominica thus gaining a lot of knowledge about all the Caribbean islands and how the guests can enjoy them to the fullest. After the caribbean season, we crossed over to Europe and did the Boss's first season over there. I made the move from waku after a year and a half to S/Y Helios, as Paul and i were ready to take on a couples position together. I was lucky enough to have some of my interior team want to come along and work with me on Helios due to our great relationship we had on Waku.
